Highly recommend not to use this if you have a choice and if you do and some one steals your money, say good bye bc they will make you file a claim which will take weeks bc they never answer the phone and then it will take months and there just going to find a reason to not give you your money back anyway so if your readind this and trying decide if you shod get it or not let the rating do all the talking, their not a 1 star company for nothing ! The worst damn bank you can ever possibly have I would recommend never getting this bank or card. finally making the move to another company. the very worst company with the very worst customer service with the very worst kind of a conscience. have been trying to get a hold of someone for the past two months for a second instance that will cost me all of my months social security money all i have ever gotten was that they were so busy and to call back another time. asked for their paperwork on how they made their decision and was sent the paperwork i had already sent to them unmarked and unwrinkled even. ie: i would have had to be personally in England to make the charge. even with the fact that one of the uses was for payment at a drop off delivery service in Leeds England. i got them back on time and some time later was told they had determined that no fraud had ocurred. Three years ago I had two instances of unauthorized use (fraud) and had ten days to file paperwork with them it took eight days before i received the forms. I got this card six years ago as it was shown as being one backed by the Treasury Department actually the only one listed. Our government needs to cut ties with this company. I felt like they she was mocking my disability and this person should be fired. The one time you need them they will let the phone ring for hrs and then answer in a rage when you don't give up after waiting forever. The women was the most disrespectful, condescending and flat out lazy person I have ever called. You can not talk to a real person when you need to. She told me she would transfer me to another department but instead started me over on the great adventure that is their automated phone service. The woman that answered the phone had the nastiest attitude of anyone in customer service I have ever had to deal with. Directexpress froze my account on a new card that was never used without any reason.
